New Karoo ONLY:
- We added support for the Bluetooth Audio feature previously on Karoo 2. You can now pair your headphones on the new Karoo for Navigation, workout and Radar alerts. We appreciate your patience while we worked on bringing this functionality back to the new Karoo.
Karoo and Karoo 2 Features:
- We added route direction markers on Karoo when you are following a route. You can now see directional arrows on your route polyline at all zoom levels. The frequency of arrows change based on zoom level and the curvature of the route.
- We added a new data field under Navigation for the Current Road or Trail name.
- Note: The data field only works when your CLIMBER setting is set to ‘Always on'. We will look to make this available with or without CLIMBER in a future update.
- We added a ‘Duration of Event’ option to Navigation Cues under Screen-on triggers in Battery Save Mode. You can now configure your screen to stay awake until the turn maneuver is complete.
- We updated the color of water on Karoo maps to more easily differentiate between climbs and water.
Karoo and Karoo 2 Bug Fixes:
- We fixed an issue where the screen could turn off while the rider is interacting with Karoo in Battery Save Mode. The Screen Off timer for Battery Save Mode will now be reset and your screen will remain on when you interact with the touchscreen or a hardware button.
- We fixed an issue with the Time to Destination data field where we incorrectly used average speed during paused time, which caused the time to increase.
- We fixed an issue with Battery Save Mode when you selected ‘Duration of Event’ for ‘On/Off Route’ trigger. The screen will stay on until the rider is back on their route.

- We made improvements to the login experience when using SRAM SSO on Dashboard. All riders can now sign in using SRAM SSO if you have a SRAM AXS account connected to Hammerhead Dashboard.
